YEAR 15: THE INSIGNIFICANT SPARK

Study on the Lightning element fluctuation and the formation of biological resistance.

I. The Host of the Anomaly

Fifteen cycles after the opening of the First Rift, the Purification of Orbis was progressing according to the calculated parameters. However, in the degraded remains of Zone 3, our entropy sensors detected an unusual energy peak. What the free peoples' propaganda calls "the awakening of a leader" is nothing more than a violent chemical reaction within a human organism.

From Varyn's perspective, this event does not represent "hope," but rather an inefficiency in the dismantling process of Gaia's reality. This "spark" is insignificant on a cosmic scale, yet it has served as a catalyst for other inferior organisms to group together in a futile attempt at resistance.

II. The Illusion of Will

The great error of the survivors in Year 15 was believing that Tessa's spark was a divine gift from the Silenced Goddess. Our heralds have confirmed there is no divinity in lightning; it is only disordered energy seeking a path of least resistance. Tessa is merely a biological lightning rod. The "Resistance" that formed around her is an instinctive defense structure, similar to a virus reaction when the body tries to expel a necessary infection.

Despite sporadic attacks directed by this anomaly, the expansion of the Void is unstoppable. The Outlanders and occupation forces in the frozen lands have received orders to observe and contain, rather than exterminate. Varyn finds the study of human desperation fascinating; observing how a small light tries to fight against the immensity of eternal night provides us valuable data on matter's resistance before its final collapse.

III. The Fate of the Storm

Lightning, by its very nature, is ephemeral. It shines brightly for a millisecond and then disappears, leaving only darkness and the echo of thunder. That is exactly the fate of Tessa and her faction. At VarynWorld, we understand that the storm cannot last forever. Year 15 will go down in history not as the beginning of a new era, but as the last gasp of a world refusing to accept its obsolescence.

Every time Tessa invokes her power, she drains the little vital essence remaining in Orbis. In her attempt to "save" the world, the Resistance is only accelerating the depletion of energy resources maintaining biological cohesion. In the end, when the spark fades, the Void will not need to fight; it will simply claim what remains of a world consumed by its own fear of darkness.
